Feeling a bit like a Fondant Fancy in my lasting pink obsession, but I don’t really mind! It’s keeping me going at the moment as the dark mornings are continuing. I would say I’m pretty ready for spring now…!

Saturday saw the boyfriend and I take a stroll along Hammersmith river with only a few runners and a bit of a chilly wind to keep us company… so much so, that I had to keep hold of my hat pretty tight!
After our morning around Hammersmith, we drove up to see my parents for the afternoon before meeting up with two of my lovely friends and their boys for a Chinese meal. I haven’t been out for a meal back home for a good year or two so it was nice to catch up in our home town!
I wanted to wear something that could transition from day to night… so a knit with a leather look pencil skirt was the best option. The necklace is pretty big and sparkly, but who doesn’t like a bit of sparkle? ;-)
How do you transition from day to night?
As you must have seen already, the pink coat is the must have for this season.
The lover of pastels that I am, I wasn’t expecting to take to a pastel pink winter coat, but it became an integral part of my AW13 wish list (which you can check out here) and I just had to have one!

It was my birthday a few weeks ago and my lovely parentals got this beaut for me! After checking out a few different pink coats, I settled on this one. I liked the colour, the cut and the length… it’s perfect even when I’m wearing a skirt or dress!
What do you think to the pink coat trend? Did you cave in and get one too?
Another busy week down…! Very happy it’s Friday, although I can’t look forward to a lie in tomorrow as I have a pretty busy weekend ahead seeing friends and family! Talking of weekends, last week the boy and I went on a little walk around Syon Park and managed to get a couple of shots of my outfit where the wind wasn’t blowing hair in my face! ;-)

I’ve had this fluffy cropped jumper for a while and I wanted to find a bit of a different way to wear it other than with a high waisted skirt/shorts/jeans… Not that there’s anything wrong with any of those options, and I’ve been wearing it with said items too… but I wanted to get a bit more wear out of it as I love the colour and the fluffy texture!
I decided to try it with one of my favourite tops, one that seems to save me on those days when no outfit seems right! (I’m sure I’m not the only one!?) It’s a dip hem silk-like number, which I usually wear on it’s own or with a cardi, so pairing it with a jumper was a new one, but in my opinion it works! It felt quite effortless and casual and for a weekend day out (as well as work as I can wear whatever to the office), it felt like a good choice! It’s definitely saved as one of my go to outfits from now on!
What are your thoughts on cropped jumpers? What do you think to this combination?
Have a lovely weekend guys! :)
I have been good on the nail varnish front, not buying one for a while, but with the colder season upon us, I have ditched the pastels and started looking for that perfect autumnal shade.
I was looking for a bit of an in-between colour and decided to treat myself to a new OPI beauty. Out of all of the possible shades in the OPI shop, I kept coming back to this one – Koala Bear-y, so it had to be mine and I’ve been wearing it ever since!
What I love about an OPI nail varnish, is how smoothly it goes on and how long it lasts.
I’ve worn it for about 3 nail varnish applications in a row (that’s pretty good since usually I change the colour every time!). It’s gone with every single outfit I’ve worn so far and I think it will go with pretty much anything! And with a name like Koala Bear-y, what’s not to like? ;-)
What do you think to Koala Bear-y? What’s your staple colour for Autumn?
The morning after my friend’s wedding, as we were getting ready to leave the hotel, I couldn’t help myself when I saw a swing! (There goes the big kid in me…) Pretty nice touch that it matched my outfit too! ;-)

After all day and night in heels and a dress, I packed this casual and comfortable outfit for the day after the wedding. To be honest it was a bit of a last minute outfit decision with me running late and throwing things into my overnight bag!
This pink cardigan is currently one of my favourites as it feels like I’m wearing a cloud! It’s really comfortable and gives a simple outfit of shiny leggings and a plain white tee a bit of a pop!
What do you think of this casual outfit?
September time (ok nearly October time) is apparently making me a little bit sentimental to my younger days… cue this pinny.
Topshop Pinny .:. Topshop Top .:. Topshop Shoes
I got it on a recent trip to Westfield and it was a totally impromptu purchase but when I saw it, I really liked it. The material is quite silky and soft so it doesn’t resemble those school uniforms you might have had (I didn’t actually have to wear a pinny… maybe this is the reason for wanting one now!).
I got this cute pink collared top for my birthday last year from my best friend (thanks Nat!) and I thought it would go really well with this outfit. Keeping it very girly with my T-Bar shoes and adding a bit of bling, this outfit is ready to go! ;-)
At the moment, I can’t seem to keep away from the internet… wishing and wanting new pieces for the colder seasons and my wishlist is mounting up big time!
At the moment, I am majorly craving a new coat and with this season’s trend of pink pink pink… I seem to have succumbed!
1. This Jaeger Neon Boucle Coat is literally amazing! I know it’s pretty out there, but you will be making a damn awesome statement in this beaut! (aaaand my birthday is coming up soon… hint hint ;) )
2. Loving this Topshop Angora Crop, it’s fluffy and cream… what more could you want?!
3. As you might have already guessed, I love Mulberry and since the Willow Tote came out, it’s been a huge crush of mine!
4. This ASOS Fedora hat is that lovely burgundy berry colour that is so nice for Autumn and will go with practically everything!
5. I know that I’ve recently purchased boots, but these Topshop Mid Heel Chelsea boots have really caught my eye. Sometimes a big heel is a bit of an effort and these are the perfect height to give your feet a little break! ;-)
6. Mollie King is the new brand ambassador for Maybelline and this Fuchsia Flash is her signature colour. I think it’s a pretty amazing shade, adding a bright vivid pop of colour to perhaps a monochrome outfit!
7. Another coat I’m wishing for… this time in a Desert Rose shade from French Connection. A slightly more subtle shade of pink, but equally as gorgeous!
Oh the decisions! It doesn’t help that lots of birthdays have come at me this month as well! So I’ll have to keep you posted on any purchases! ;-)
What are you wishing for?
