Feeling a bit like a Fondant Fancy in my lasting pink obsession, but I don’t really mind! It’s keeping me going at the moment as the dark mornings are continuing. I would say I’m pretty ready for spring now…!

Saturday saw the boyfriend and I take a stroll along Hammersmith river with only a few runners and a bit of a chilly wind to keep us company… so much so, that I had to keep hold of my hat pretty tight!
After our morning around Hammersmith, we drove up to see my parents for the afternoon before meeting up with two of my lovely friends and their boys for a Chinese meal. I haven’t been out for a meal back home for a good year or two so it was nice to catch up in our home town!
I wanted to wear something that could transition from day to night… so a knit with a leather look pencil skirt was the best option. The necklace is pretty big and sparkly, but who doesn’t like a bit of sparkle? ;-)
How do you transition from day to night?
At the weekend I attended my lovely friend Claire’s wedding. So the question was, what do you wear to an end of September wedding…?!
Jaeger Dress .:. Topshop Belt, Necklace, Heels .:. Vintage Clutch
Luckily, my amazing mum found this dress online and at first I wasn’t sure it was my style, but when I tried it on and accessorised it, I really liked it! It has a bit of a vintage feel with the A Line cut and the gold tweed fabric, so the hair and red lipstick was a definite must!
The dress is on the thicker side, which is perfect for a colder wedding day, but lucky for Claire, the weather was a-mazing! (I wasn’t too hot either!) I have to say that this dress surprised me and I actually can’t wait to wear it again! Well done Jaeger! ;-)
What are your thoughts on the gold tweed and vintage feel?
Last week, when the sun was shining, I decided on this split side dusty rose maxi skirt outfit. The skirt has quite a romantic feel (kinda reminds me of rose flavoured macaroons for some reason… just me!? …maybe because the first time I wore it was in Paris last summer, which brings back fond memories…) and I was floating about in it all day!
River Island Split Side Maxi Skirt (old) .:. Primark Pocket Tee .:. ASOS Sandals .:. Topshop Studded Belt .:. Millie ‘n’ Mae Necklace .:. Elsie Belle Necklace
A little while ago, I came across a brand of jewellery called Elsie Belle where I found the necklace I am wearing – ‘All the fun of the fair’. It’s a vintage 50’s American amusement park token, which I absolutely fell in love with! It’s cute with a little story to tell and I’ve had a few comments on it already!
I kept the outfit quite minimal with black as I don’t think it needs much, you know, sometimes less is more! ;-)
On another note, since we’ve got our new camera, my boyfriend Paul has been wanting to try out his filming skills and guess who the guinea pig was?! I actually love it, although it being my first ever video debut, it is a little daunting and I was a little bit embarrassed ha so excuse some of my awkward faces! I hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think!? :) If you want to look at any of Paul’s stuff, head on over to here.

Last week I couldn’t resist this pair of shoes and after a little cheeky purchase, they arrived at my door. I was very happy with them… they make me feel very ladylike! And in ladylike fashion, I put on one of my tea dresses and off I went!

I recently purchased this ‘cup of tea’ necklace, so what better accessory to go with this outfit?
I like the simplicity of tea dresses, you can just chuck one on and they look effortless and a little bit vintage. I’m just missing a scone with clotted cream and jam! ;-)
What do you think to the more ladylike look?
Since the weather has been a little colder this week, I dug out a pair of jeans and wore my silk ladybird blouse from Jaeger that I bought a few months ago. I was meeting up with a few uni friends and thought it was a nice outfit for some casual drinks at the Southbank and Covent Garden.

I love this blouse: cute animals – check, scallops – check, collar – check, what more could a girl want?! ;-) Jaeger have such nice quality clothes, I find that the cuts are quite classic so they will never go out of fashion! The blouse is so soft and feels amazing. My jeans are Topshop Leigh jeans, which are one of the only jeans that I’ve found that fit me, so I have quite a few pairs in different colours! I kept the rest of the outfit quite simple with some preppy loafers and a gold triangle necklace under the collar.
What do you think of the ladybird blouse? Have you got any Jaeger pieces?
Whilst in Oxford last week, I couldn’t help but to look inside a few shops, where I spotted this little neon number! I usually go for quite muted colours, mainly cream and white with a few pastels thrown in, but this dress caught my attention. It might be because neon is so hot for summer right now, or because I liked the shape of this dress – tshirt style and not too short, with a slight dip hem at the back.
Topshop dress .:. Topshop necklace .:. Zara boots (old) .:. ASOS Rings and bracelet (old)
I nearly grabbed a pair of heels for this outfit but then decided that I wanted to dress it down slightly as the colour does all of the talking. I picked my nude studded Zara boots, along with my chunky Topshop bunny necklace and added a few more jewellery pieces – ASOS stacking zig zag rings and a gold bracelet.
I like the contrast of the really bright neon orange and the nude boots, what do you think?

A little while ago I posted about Wedding Outfits here as I was off to a few weddings this summer. I wanted to share a few photos of the outfit that I actually did wear to one of the weddings! My friend got married in a gorgeous place in Hampshire and the weather was amazing on her big day!
I actually ended up recycling one of my old dresses (Hurrah! Doesn’t happen very often with special occassion dresses!), I added a very big statement pearl necklace with a fabric flower, along with a white blazer (all Topshop) and my favourite Kurt Geiger nude heels! I finished the look off with a Mulberry Neon Woodland Pouch that added a little pop of colour to my outfit.
Like I said, gorgeous day!
I had to include this one for Paul… he absolutely loves old American cars! (I did nearly trip over when trotting over to it in my heels, so I hope he appreciated it! ;-))
I even got my very own souvenir! It was a lovely day and I wish the happy couple lots of love and happiness for the future! :)
What do you think to my wedding outfit? What would you wear to a summer wedding?
